We can't believe August is already here! As summer winds down and a new school year begins, we're excited to kick off another amazing season at Fancy Feet. Our summer camps are still in full swing, Competition and Performance Group dancers are preparing for an exciting year ahead, and we're making sure every dancer is placed in the class that's the perfect fit.
As we begin a brand-new dance season, we want to thank you for being part of the Fancy Feet family. We appreciate your continued support and can't wait to share all the exciting classes, events, performances, and memories we have planned for the year ahead. Reminder: dancers need to line up outside of their classroom before class, teachers will invite students in when class starts. Dancers are not allowed to be in classroom by themselves.

🎤 K-Pop Golden Dance Camp 🎤💛 ✨ Shine bright, dance bold, go golden! ✨
Get ready to dance like a K-Pop star at our K-Pop Golden Dance Camp! Campers will learn age-appropriate K-Pop–inspired choreography, build confidence, and have a blast dancing with friends. Each day also includes creative activities and fun games to keep the energy high all week long.
Dates: August 3–7 (East Sac Only) ⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Join us for an exciting Acro Dance Camp designed especially for young dancers! Campers will learn age-appropriate acro skills focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, all while incorporating dance movement. Each day includes guided instruction, fun games, and creative activities in a safe and supportive environment.

All classes during the Back to Dance Bash are FREE, but space is limited.
Reserve your spot online today and discover why families love Fancy Feet Dance Academy. Whether your child is just starting or looking to explore a new style, this is the perfect opportunity to meet our instructors, experience a class, and get ready for an exciting dance season.
Students will be measured for the Holiday Show during the last 10 min of class. Grown-ups are invited to come into the classroom the last 10 min of their regular class time.
Sizing Week is August 24-29
It is important that your child is present as we begin to prepare for the recital.
Your child will be sized using a sizing costume. They will put the costume over their regular dance attire.
You will be provided with our sizing recommendation and we suggest you check it against the costume size chart.
You will be given a handout with the QR code to scan to purchase your recital package which includes the costume.

If your child takes more than 1 class, you need to purchase a recital package for each class.
If you are not able to get sized during sizing week. Please come into the East Sac studio before or after your child's class and visit the front desk.

✨Dancer of the Month- Beatrice
Congratulations to our August Dancer of the Month, Beatrice! 💜
Beatrice dances in Miss Lindsay's Ballet/Tap Level 2 class and is a true star both in and out of the studio. She comes to class with a positive attitude, works hard every week, and always gives her best effort. Her kindness, focus, and love for dance make her an excellent role model for her classmates.
